For those of you planning your own joint over the Atlantic, beware of this.
Don't make the same mistake I did. I'm booked for May 12...No wonder it was so cheap...

Done and done.
I finished my last undergraduate exam yesterday, hustled off to my tour prep course then went out for a last hurrah in Ottawa. The night was phenomenal and very well attended.
Unfortunately, this left my poor parents to pack up and load the belongings I have managed to accumulate in four years. Needless to say, there's a lot. A complete Dodge Caravan full. We have to go back next weekend...oops. But they exacted their revenge be waking me up at 5:15 this morning (after only going to sleep at around 3am) to leave for Toronto. I'm a wee bit tired.

No time to catch my breath
Hello all,
As you can probably guess from my lack of posts, these last few weeks have been very hectic. In sad news, I finished school the first week of April. I wish I could say I left on a high note. That I sprinted to the finish line and ran past it, the crowd cheering my name as the national flag was draped over my shoulders, tears streaming down my face and sponsors bombarding my agent's phone for endorsement deals. Alas, I cannot. It was more like stumbling to the end and then collapsing in a heap of humiliation and exhaustion inches from the end and then dragging myself up to the finish line. But hey. It's over.
I can't believe undergrad is actually over. It can't be.
One good thing: j-school finished on the highest of high notes. Off the Record: J-prom 2008 went off without a hitch (minus some last minute cake carrying) and was a huge success. Props are extended to roomies Joni and Laura for the grad video. (Which I may or may not post depending on time, legal issues, technological capabilities and did I mention time?)
For now, I'm back in Toronto, studying for exams, interning at the CBC (!!) and finishing last minute preparations for grad school and my trip. I didn't know it would be this hectic to cram preparations for a year and half long absence into 4 weeks. But I'm working through it. I'm actually trying to study for my Canadian Economic History exam today. So back to the grind.
